There's so much more for Corbin to do!

In a match that saw Curt Hawkins trying to put an end to his losing streak, Baron Corbin, of all Superstars, made his way to the ring and attacked Hawkin's opponent, resulting in Hawkins losing his 200th straight match in WWE.

Many would have wanted Hawkins to finally overcome an opponent so that he could move on from the losing streak and maybe gain relevance on the roster.

In a backstage segment, Corbin conveyed Stephanie McMahon's message to Angle stating that Corbin would now be the Constable of Monday Night RAW. This meant that Corbin is now Stephanie's personal representative on the show.

Everyone can agree that Corbin has not done much since his jump to RAW over a month ago. He has been in pointless matches against No Way Jose since his debut. Corbin is the kind of guy who should be in the main event scene or at least in a relevant feud. He has the physique and move set of a wrestler that everybody loves to watch.

Firstly, him coming down to cost Hawkins the match made no sense whatsoever. Even if WWE decide to go ahead and put these two in a match next week, there are no points for guessing who would come out of it the victor. Even a feud between the two is below Corbin's caliber.

Secondly, when has Corbin even shown signs that he could be someone that Stephanie McMahon would trust to oversee Angle's decisions on RAW? This role should have been given to Owens. Ideally, Corbin and Owens should have their current roles reversed with Corbin taking part in the MITB Ladder match and Owens as Stephanie's representative.

Owens has proved himself time and again and it wouldn't hurt his credibility as a wrestler if he was made an authoritative figure just to make Angle mad. Also, Corbin is the one who is in the need of a push and competing for the MITB briefcase is exactly what could have given him relevance.
