Daniel Bryan seemed to be missing in action on this week's episode of SmackDown Live and hence we missed out on a confrontation between Cass and Bryan on the go home show before their face off at Backlash.
Cass came out and delivered a pretty good promo but then what ruined the segment was Cass hiring a local talent to make a mockery of Daniel Bryan.
This move really pulled the promo down and nobody really enjoyed Cass' segment after the actor playing Bryan made his way to the ring.

While Bryan didn't interrupt the Cass segment, he wrestled in dark match after 205 Live in which he picked up the win against Nakamura.
Bryan could have caused a distraction while Cass was beating on the hired actor allowing the actor to possibly low blow Cass and escape.
This could have been a better booking heading into Backlash and would have added life to the disinterested crowd.

Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
