#2. Shinsuke Nakamura leaving WWE

Enter
King of Strong Style

Nakamura joined WWE in 2016 as part of the NXT roster. He made his main roster debut in April 2017. Since then, he has seen lots of ups and downs in his career. He has some highs like winning the Royal Rumble 2018, being in the WWE title picture many times and his heel run with the United States Championship till now.

There were even talks going around of pairing him with Paul Heyman. But, he also has some lows like getting defeated by Jinder Mahal on a couple of occasions, not able to win the WWE title despite many attempts and just being stuck as a mid-card champion.

In July, WhatCulture reported on their Youtube channel that his contract with the WWE is going to expire in January 2019 and he may be considering to move back to NJPW again. Nakamura came to WWE In hopes of finally joining the big leagues and competition for The WWE title, not to be a mid-card heel champion that is about to be outdone by a better heel in Randy Orton. Considering how much better Nakamura would do back in New Japan, it seems pretty obvious that he will leave when his contract is up.
