#4 Blading to blood

Blood during wrestling matches always adds the extra dramatic impact. Although we understand that wrestling is scripted, the sight of wrestlers bleeding and wearing a crimson mask has always managed to suspend disbelief and engage the fans even more. The way in which the wrestlers bleed is one of WWE’s long-lasting secrets.
In the past, when blood was used, the whole blading process was something that all the wrestlers hid. These days, with the PG era, blading is a long lost art. But blood does flow on certain occasions and instead of hiding that the cut occurred, WWE hides blood as a whole.
From making edits in the videos to changing camera angles, WWE makes moves to keep its programming away from the violence and gore that the product was once known for.
