Being the King of the Ring was once considered to be a big deal in WWE. It still is, but the tournament has lost a lot of its credibility. Nevertheless, there have been numerous WWE Superstars and legends who have won this prestigious tournament including the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Bret Hart, and many others.
This is yet another major accomplishment missing from the otherwise impressive resume of The Undertaker. Unlike the Money in the Bank matches in which he hasn't competed ever, The Deadman has been a part of two King of the Ring tournaments but was unable to win and sit on the throne.
In 2020, we saw him enter the Tuwaiq Trophy tournament at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia and pin AJ Styles to win the accolade. Unless something like that happens in a future King of the Ring tournament, it is unlikely that we'll see the Prince of Darkness be called the King of the Ring.
