When Triple H started dating Stephanie McMahon, he believed he was committing career suicide.

In his book "Triple H Making the Game: Triple H's Approach to a Better Body," The Game explained how he felt about getting into a relationship with Vince McMahon's daughter.

"This wasn't just some regular romance. It's not like I took a look at her one day and thought, Oh wow, she's cute. I think I'll ask her out on a date. No way. I was commiting career suicide getting involved in this. I had strong feelings for this person, but who knew how it would turn out. If it didn't work out in any way, I'm out of work. I'm out of the only thing I know how to do in life," Triple H wrote.

Luckily for Triple H, things worked out well with Stephanie and his WWE career. Inside the squared circle, he won many championships, including 14 World Titles. He has also excelled in his backstage positions as the driving force behind NXT.
