The fan backlash to the Rusev-Lana-Bobby Lashley love triangle was huge, and a large segment of the WWE Universe wasn't happy at all at how Rusev had been treated throughout the angle. When the Otis-Mandy Rose-Dolph Ziggler angle kicked off on SmackDown, many fans were hesitant and felt that this storyline would also end up being a dud. Fortunately, WWE hit on all cylinders with this angle, and Otis suddenly became one of the hottest acts on WWE TV.
The storyline had a satisfying payoff at WrestleMania, where Otis defeated Ziggler with the help of Mandy, and the duo got together immediately after. Vince sensed how over Otis had gotten with the WWE Universe, and turned him into one of the top acts on the Blue brand. Otis went on to win the 2020 Men's Money In The Bank Ladder match at the namesake PPV, and fans of the Heavy Machinery member couldn't be happier. Here's hoping that WWE keeps building up Otis as a major star in the coming months. His character has tons of potential, and there are a bunch of engaging storylines and matches waiting for us in the future if WWE manages to push him properly.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
