#2 Cain Velasquez tapping out to Brock Lesnar in 2 minutes
Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar, two men who know each other very well, collided at Crown Jewel for the WWE Championship- as we mentioned before. In 2010, Velasquez knocked out Brock Lesnar in the first round and took The Beast's UFC Heavyweight Championship from him. The former MMA fighters clashed once again, but this time, it was in a WWE ring.
Lesnar locked Velasquez in the kimura lock and shockingly, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion tapped out. Following the match, The Beast punished Velasquez by repeatedly attacking him with a chair.
Fortunately, Rey Mysterio, who was at ringside for the match, was able to fight him off with a steel chair. That was surprising in of itself.
#1 The Fiend winning the Universal Championship
The Fiend Bray Wyatt and The Beastslayer Seth Rollins went to hell and back for the Universal Championship, and in the end, Wyatt left with the big red belt in his possession. But why is this a surprise, you asked? Well, Bray Wyatt is signed to SmackDown, so him winning Raw's top prize doesn't really make sense.
The wild card rule isn't around anymore. Many fans expected Rollins to retain since he is part of Raw. Now that The Fiend is the new Universal Champion, it means that two of the company's top titles are now part of SmackDown. What's going to happen next? We'll just have to stay tuned to Raw and SmackDown to find out.
