#3. WWE didn't spend too much on entrances
It's been around two years since WWE decided that pyro and other fancy entrances were unnecessary for week-to-week programming. It was cited as a budget cut and WWE was heavily criticized for it.
Despite this, they've made sure to not hold back at WrestleMania, as seen at WrestleMania 33 and 34. However, not only was there less pyro at the event, but Triple H, who has the highest budget entrance, had his most underwhelming one in years.
Even the big screen on the stage was just an expanded version of the regular titantron. When you look at the WrestleMania 34 stage, it's worlds apart. We can't really understand why WWE would cut back on their entrance budget, but it's a shame, especially given that Saudi Arabia shows now have the most amount of pyro in the year.
But that likely isn't WWE paying for it.
