#1 We should know to expect change before WrestleMania
Taking emotion out of everything that happened, one thing is apparent - we as fans should know that things can and will often change before WrestleMania. That's not to say that the entire 'Mania card will be shifted monumentally but that at least a few matches will be altered with a month or so left to go until the Show of Shows.
Wyatt was involved in such a situation in 2017 when he won the WWE title at the Elimination Chamber PPV. It set up his match with Randy Orton as the Viper had won the Royal Rumble a few months prior.
Last year on the Road to WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair won the SmackDown Women's Championship in an impromptu match just two weeks before the Showcase of the Immortals. And now this year with SSD, Goldberg will be walking into Tampa as the Universal Champion instead of the Fiend.
It's seemed as if the state of WWE is one that has been in constant flux over the last few years. Some plans fall through due to injury or an alteration in plans. Even two Elimination Chamber matches were teased a few weeks ago by Lacey Evans and Sheamus respectively. Instead, they were replaced by one for the SmackDown Tag Team titles. Minds can and have changed before the actual 'Mania PPV, and although some changes may be ones we don't agree with, we should at least be used to the potential that things will be altered.
