Tony Khan has previously said that this isn't a war on WWE. On the other hand, we saw Cody Rhodes take a huge shot at Triple H during his Double Or Nothing entrance. This was in response to Triple H taking shots at AEW during DX's Hall of Fame induction. Many more jibes were taken during the show. Jericho had earlier stated that this is a war even if WWE and AEW don't want it to be.
Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE
Moxley stated in the promo that he is declaring war, on anyone who stands in his or AEW's way. This is as good of an indication as we can get that AEW is looking towards building a better product in the near future. Double Or Nothing proved that AEW is actually trying to create an alternative to WWE. It would be interesting to see how far the two companies go in the near future, to one-up each other.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
