Brock Lesnar walked out of the Greatest Royal Rumble as the Universal Champion

WrestleMania 34 seemed like the perfect fairytale story for Roman Reigns. The antagonist was a destructive, brutal and egoistic monster who perceived himself to be above the company. The protagonist was a down to earth guy with never-give-up attitude looking to teach the bad guy a lesson in courteousness.

Alas, WWE Universe didn't buy it. They had the story of a guy who never gave others the opportunity and looked to scale the summit refreshing their memory. Anyone other than Roman Reigns would have done the job.

WWE finally had to give in and change the finish. Or, was it the plan beforehand and the crowd played into their hands? Was the UFC gig just a diversion?

If the latter is the case then it means Brock Lesnar still has a vital role in the company's plans. With his controversial victory over Roman Reigns, he remains the Universal champion for 390 straight days. He has proved the world that he is the 'smartest' WWE champion.

Everyone watched the match and kept on speculating about the outcome. A Paul Heyman switchover? Reigns turning heel? Reigns winning clean? Lesnar winning clean? Whatever you had in mind, WWE was clearly the winner. The reason- Brock Lesnar. Like it or hate it, Brock Lesnar is still money!
