Eva Marie’s first real storyline was that she would find any excuse to avoid wrestling in the ring. While we know that fans were merciless with her, Eva herself really wanted to become a good sports entertainer.
She was devastated because of this storyline and actually thought that her time in NXT had been in vain, considering how she was booked. We would have to agree, quite honestly. She was actually not horrible at the end of her run.
