5 things we wanted from WWE this week and what they delivered (6th September, 2018)

#1 Shawn Michaels to announce he'll be at Super Show-Down

The Undertaker and Michaels built towards Super Show-Down perfectly!

What we wanted to see: Super Show-Down will be the host of the final match between 'The Game' Triple H and 'The Deadman'. So when it was announced that Shawn Michaels would be appearing on Raw to address the next step in this incredibly well-done saga we all immediately wanted him to announce he'd be involved in some way.

After all, Michaels has his own incredible history with the Undertaker and was involved in the last match between Triple H and 'Taker as the special guest referee so we would have loved to have seen Michaels announce he'd be donning the black and white stripes again.

What they delivered: HBK stood in the ring and cut a great promo about who he thought would win in the final match between the two huge WWE Superstars, eventually saying he thought Triple H would beat 'The Phenom'.

Then Gong! What an incredible moment! The Undertaker back on Monday Night Raw and in the same ring as Michaels, the man he retired.

These two did more to build up interest and intrigue in Super Show-Down in ten minutes than the WWE have in two weeks. It was superb! Plus, Michaels hinted at a return to the ring, which would be amazing!
