Mahal was missed at the Survivor Series.

Jinder Mahal was completely removed from the Survivor Series. He was the WWE champion for the significant part of 2017.

Notably, he is going to headline the Indian tour. The proposed match card suggests that he will defend his WWE championship in India. Hence, we expect him to become the WWE champion in near future (probably at the Clash of Champions).

At Survivor Series, fans were anticipating a throwback from him at AJ Styles after Brock Lesnar defeated AJ Styles in a spectacular match. For the least, a backstage interview was certainly due for the former WWE champion.
