5 things WWE got right at Hell in a Cell 2021: Drew McIntyre out of championship picture; Alexa Bliss controls minds

#1 Drew McIntyre lost his final chance to win back the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre competed in the night's main event at WWE Hell in a Cell. The two men competed inside the Hell in a Cell structure for the WWE Championship.

Both men pounded each other early on as they tried to get the upper hand. Lashley used MVP’s walking stuck to unload on his opponent before McIntyre caught him with an Air Raid Crash on the ring steps.

There were some top spots throughout the contest as both the big men tried their best to stay on top. The referee was taken out at one point, and MVP entered the cage with another referee.

He broke up a pinfall attempt, following which McIntyre nailed him with a Claymore Kick. Later in the match, MVP recovered to hold McIntyre’s leg as Lashley rolled him up to pick up the victory.

The entire contest was good except for the finish. McIntyre needed to get out of the WWE Champion picture, but the company chose to protect him once again at Hell in a Cell.

Lashley needs to pick up more dominant victories in the future. If Brock Lesnar’s return is on the horizon, WWE needs to focus more on his title reign rather than protecting McIntyre.
