#2 It's Rusev Day
For weeks WWE teased the idea of Rusev branching off into singles wrestler territory by having him have a disagreement with his number one wingman, Aiden English. But luckily the creative has abandoned that idea as Rusev and English are better together than doing their own separate thing, and this week the duo got one step closer to tag team glory.
The semi-final for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Titles came ahead this week, as Sanity vs Rusev Day vs The Usos was the second triple threat tag team match in the tournament, and after a great match, Rusev picked up the win over the other two teams. This was a great way for WWE to set up a relatively fresh match-up between The Bar and Rusev Day for next week in the finals, and it should be a cracker.
