#2 The Monday night main event
The main event of the night was made official earlier during the show when Seth Rollins asked Aleister Black to join his faction. Black turned down the offer, and this match was set to end the show.
Buddy Murphy watched from ringside as his former rival and current leader looked to score one over Black in this huge matchup. However, he ended up causing a disqualification by interfering in the match. The Dutch Destroyer tried to take both men down but the numbers game got to him as Rollins also called out the Authors of Pain to help them in the beatdown.
The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits ran down to help the babyface, and suddenly we had an eight-man tag team match on our hands without Black being a part of it.
After the usual multi-man tag team action, the heels picked up the victory and Rollins also managed to Stomp Kevin Owens who made his presence felt.
This was an overall decent segment that helped Black get over once again. He truly feels like a star and after a big victory on a pay-per-view against a former WWE Champion with the help of a legend, he was straight away thrown into a match with one of WWE’s biggest Superstars of all time.
While many will complain that Black should have been part of the multi-man tag team match, it was better to keep him out of the losing side as he could prove to be vital for KO and company.
