#3 Gulak’s possible push

Bryan once again got the better of the One Man Band
Bryan once again got the better of the One Man Band

Daniel Bryan got into a backstage confrontation with former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak who spoke about how Bryan did not seem to be up to the mark as of late. He was also confronted by Heath Slater.

This led to another match between Slater and Bryan this week after Bryan tore through the One Man Band a couple of weeks ago.

With Gulak joining Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary, we saw Bryan tear through Slater once again, but Slater showed some fight in this match. He fought out of The LeBell Lock and tried to punish Bryan’s knee.

However, a missed top rope maneuver allowed Brayn to regain control and hit the running knee soon after to pick up the victory.

This was a better match for both Bryan and Slater and The Planet’s Champion did not seem like a heel in this one.

Gulak’s introduction into this storyline is the most interesting part as it could either lead to him getting a major push and competing with Bryan soon or become some sort of a manager.

From what we know about Bryan, he is never shy of putting some new rising talent over without losing any value of his own. We hope the Bryan and Gulak segments continue.
