Maybe it was just how disappointed the hometown crowd was after watching The Miz take a beating at the hands of Shane McMahon, but everything seems to be falling in place for The A-Lister to be inserted into the WWE title picture. In fact, it would almost be a crime not to do it at this point.

Not only is that evident by how much The Miz has been connecting with the crowd lately, but also by how deserving The Miz is of the WrestleMania moment that seems to be just waiting for him. If nothing else, WWE has only two real roads to follow here when it comes to Miz and it either leads to a match with Shane McMahon or a match against Daniel Bryan.
In the end, Bryan versus Miz was supposedly the original option when Daniel Bryan turned heel earlier last year, but some believe the company has since changed their mind. Whether that's the case or not remains to be seen and will depend on how into The Miz WWE is, but it would certainly be a great story.
