#2 Cedric Alexander could become the next challenger for AJ Styles
Cedric Alexander certainly had a difficult night on RAW this week. The former Cruiserweight Champion qualified for the second round after defeating Sami Zayn, however, his King of the Ring journey ended on RAW this week. Baron Corbin and Cedric Alexander offered an awe-inspiring match, as the latter lost the bout.

Though Cedric lost to Baron Corbin, he wasn't fully fit during the match. While giving a backstage interview, prior to the match, Cedric was ambushed by The OC. As a result, Cedric fought with a kayfabe injury against Corbin but he still produced one of the best matches of the night.
Cedric was eliminated from the King of the Ring tournament, whereas Styles is still without an opponent. Styles interrupted the contract signing segment between Strowman and Rollins, as he tore up the contract. The possibility of a triple threat match, with the US Title and the Universal Title on the line, can not be ruled out at Clash of Champions.
The assault on Cedric Alexander probably hinted us a new feud if the triple threat match doesn't happen. After departure from King of the Ring, Cedric could be the one, to challenge the Phenomenal One at Clash of Champions. Cedric's recent rise has been remarkable, and he could give a tough fight to Styles.
