The Ascension has descended into the undercard

Wrestlers such as R-Truth, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder and The Ascension are talented in the ring, but they have nothing to offer the WWE anymore. R-Truth and Goldust are just a couple of wrestlers that have served the company well for a long time, but maybe it is time to part ways. They have all been through the grinder and maybe it is time they tried their luck outside the WWE.

Leaving the WWE isn't the end of the world though. Cody Rhodes has turned into a massive star on the independent scene and has put on his own sold-out show two years after playing Stardust in WWE. That is quite an evolution.

While wrestlers like R-Truth and Goldust are in the twilight of their careers, Superstars such as Sin Cara and The Ascension have been in the undercard for so long, it's highly unlikely they will achieve anything of note in the company.

Perhaps it is time for both parties to cut their losses and move on. A leaner roster will allow WWE to really focus in its programming and improve its quality.
