The Kabuki Warriors have had their time in the spotlight and despite a few memorable matches, they have little to show for it. Now, that doesn't mean they weren't great champions and capable of putting on a good show, but they were largely hindered by the lack of babyfaces to play off of.

There was Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, who teamed up to take on the devious duo at TLC, but that was the exception and not the rule. Unfortunately for Flair and Lynch, they were unsuccessful in defeating the Kabuki Warriors and haven't teamed together since, leaving Asuka and Kairi Sane without opponents for their gold.

In the end, the title picture needs to move forward and it can't be done by staying with a team like The Kabuki Warriors. They also can't move forward with heel champions, which is why the company needs to find an up and coming babyface team to put the belts on.
