Owens is a favorite to win this year’s MITB

The eponymous match for MITB has always been a show-stealer and the real reason why you look forward to the PPV. Winning the contact in this era has become what the Intercontinental championship used to be in the past. It is more or less an indication of how bright the future of a particular superstar looks like (except if you take Damien Sandow).

This year Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio have qualified with one more spot seemingly left.

Any one of them winning except Del Rio (who is a past winner) or Jericho (veteran) will be quite exciting for the future.
