#4. Harland made his debut on WWE NXT 2.0

Harland was set to compete in his first match on WWE NXT 2.0 this week. The giant took on Guru Raaj in a singles match. Joe Gacy told Harland to be himself in the ring before his first contest.

Harland showcased his power right from the opening bell. He unleashed on Raaj and beat him down. Harland smashed Raaj’s head into the mat to make a statement. He hit a side slam before finishing off his opponent with a chokeslam.

Harland continued to beat down on Raaj after the match as Gacy watched. The officials forced the debutant to leave, but he was looking to do more damage. He threw Brian Kendrick down a flight of stairs to finish off the segment. Kendrick was later seen in a neck brace after the impact and was eventually sent to a local hospital for further evaluation.

The match was nothing but a glorified squash. It didn’t do much for either competitor. However, it did put Harland on the map immediately. NXT could have taken so many different directions with the newcomer. However, building him as a silent monster could help him get popular quickly.
