Backstage on WWE NXT 2.0, MSK prepared for another Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament. Meanwhile, Dakota Kai returned and warned them that success destroys friendships.

After his massive victory over Roderick Strong last week, Carmelo Hayes arrived in style. He kicked off the segment with a moment of silence for Strong’s title reign before celebrating his win over the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

Grimes is one of the top workers in NXT. It’s a shame that he hasn’t won anything apart from the Million Dollar Championship. A rivalry against Melo will help him showcase his talent once again.

Both men are incredible on the mic and in the ring. Their rivalry will likely take over the brand in the weeks to come. WWE could finally look to crown Grimes the North American Champion and test him out before moving him to the main roster.
