Killian Dain was not ready to join Imperium on WWE NXT. Instead, he competed with his former Sanity partner Alexander Wolfe in a match. Wolfe had been reluctant to hit his former friend with a steel chair a few weeks ago, making matters complicated for Imperium.

Wolfe started strong and delivered some big strikes before Dain took over the action. The Beast of Belfast nearly took Wolfe’s head off with a massive clothesline.

Outside the ring, Fabian Aichner attacked Drake Maverick and ate a big boot for his troubles. Marcel Barthel sent a steel chair into the ring for Wolfe to use, but the Imperium member hesitated once again and ran into a running crossbody that allowed Dain to pick up the win.

After the match, Bartel and Aichner laid out Wolfe with a European Bomb to take him out of the group. While the match wasn’t too special, the ending made things better.

It looks like they have managed to remove the weak link from the faction, and it will be interesting to see who they’ll target next. Will Imperium turn their attention to Thatcher once again and recruit him to the faction on NXT?
