Malcolm Bivens was all pumped up for the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament on WWE NXT Vengeance Day. He accompanied The Creed Brothers out for their first big match against MSK.
The Creed Brothers controlled the pace of the contest early and punished Wes Lee. Julius Creed took the fight to his opponents before MSK bounced back. The former NXT Tag Team Champions hit a combination senton bomb and corkscrew bomb for a near fall.
Lee and Nash Carter continued to hit some double-team maneuvers but could not get the win. Brutus broke up a pin attempt to keep his team in the contest.
Julius finally got the better of the high flyers and hit Carer with a low running clothesline to award The Creed Brothers the biggest victory of their career. It was the right call, as MSK already had its big moment on the brand, and Creed Brothers needed the push.
After the match, Imperium hit the ring to warn the brothers that they would not be able to win the tag team championships. It looks like WWE is ready to build a massive rivalry between the two teams before their tag team championship contest.
