Damian Priest made a big statement by successfully defending his United States Championship against AJ Styles last week on WWE RAW. He was challenged by Shelton Benjamin for the title this week.
Cedric Alexander accompanied Benjamin and provided some distractions to allow his partner to take control. Priest used his strength to get back into the contest.

Benjamin sent him outside the ring, where Alexander hit him with a kick behind the referee's back. Soon after, Priest started to bring out the "Damian" side in the contest.
He unloaded on Benjamin and finished him off with The Reckoning for the win. After the match, Priest demanded some "world champion" to challenge him for the title.
Finn Balor made his way out to accept Priest's challenge - setting up a big match between the two men for next week. Benjamin has a knack for giving his opponents some good matches. He did just that on Monday night and put on a good show with Priest.
Balor's return and entry into the United States Championship picture are great. He should be the one to defeat The Archer of Infamy for the title on RAW.
