#2. Damian Priest picked up a clean win over Sami Zayn on WWE RAW

Damian Priest’s open challenge for the United States Championship was answered by Apollo Crews on WWE RAW. The Archer of Infamy had lost his cool at Survivor Series and gotten himself disqualified for attacking Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura with the remains of an electric guitar.

Sami Zayn interrupted and complained about being robbed of a WWE Championship match. He asked for a United States Championship shot instead, and Apollo surprisingly let him take the opportunity.

Priest took control of the match as Zayn tried to get as far away from the champion as possible. The two men traded some strikes before Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near-fall.

The Great Liberator kept control of the match for a little while before Priest finished him off on RAW. WWE did well to keep the story between Priest and Apollo going without having the two men compete on RAW.

Zayn is phenomenal and deserves a lot more praise than he gets. WWE needs to push the superstar on RAW and give him some big opportunities.
