Fans got a surprise on WWE RAW this week when Drew McIntyre went up against his former 3MB stablemate, Jinder Mahal. WWE could have turned this match into a big rivalry, but the creative team decided to book it this week.
Veer and Shanky joined Mahal while McIntyre came out with his sword. Both men used their power to get the better of each other. McIntyre delivered a few big moves to establish his dominance during the contest.

Mahal used dirty tactics to remain in the match and get the better of The Scottish Warrior. He slammed McIntyre into the announce table and controlled the match for some time.
McIntyre recovered and spiked Mahal with a Future Shock DDT. He set himself up to hit the Claymore, but Veer and Shanky got involved and caused a disqualification. The Maharaja and his men beat down McIntyre and stole his sword.
The match allowed both men to show off their strengths. The ending suggests that both men will get into an extended rivalry that could stretch all the way until SummerSlam.
Mahal could even end up costing McIntyre during the Money in the Bank ladder match.
