5 Things WWE secretly told us through the Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36

#2 It might have been John Cena's last match

After we were all finished watching the insane Firefly Fun House match, there were many people online as well as my friends who believed that the entire thing felt like a very weird tribute to John Cena. It was a rollercoaster ride where we relived some crucial moments in John Cena's career and witnessed the different gimmicks played by him.

Be it the young John Cena who confronted the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle on his SmackDown debut or the Doctor of Thuganomics who used to rip apart his opponents through his raps and promos, we witnessed it all. Moreover, we even witnessed the version of Cena that as claimed by Bray "buried" him at WrestleMania XXX.

If you paid close attention at the ending moments of the match, right before The Fiend hit Cena with Sister Abigail and pinned him, Cena's promo from a few weeks ago echoed in the background with the following words -

"At WrestleMania, I will finish the job that should’ve been done six years ago and destroy the most overhyped, overvalued, overprivileged WWE Superstar in existence." One has to wonder whether this was a way for Cena to go out on his back and put over Bray Wyatt as the next big thing in WWE?
