#3 Shorty G’s new alliance

Shorty G was attacked backstage on SmackDown this week by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura before SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day came to his aide.

This led to a match between the teams of Shorty G and The New Day, and Cesaro, Nakamura, and Mojo Rawley.

It was good to see Rawley back in the ring for a big match as he started the match for the heel team. The heels tried their best to take out the powerhouse of the babyface team, but Big E was too good to be controlled.

He and Kingston pulled off some wonderful moves before Cesaro helped Rawley dodge a Trouble in Paradise from Kingston. Kingston then injured his knee by diving outside the ring, and Rawley found an opening to keep the former WWE Champion down.

The New Day may have found new enemies on SmackDown

After some more shenanigans from the heels, Kingston and Big E put away Rawley while Gable kept Nakamura and Cesaro out of the ring. This was an entertaining match that gave Shorty G and Rawley some extended time in the ring.

With New Day picking up the win by putting away Rawley, one can safely assume that the SmackDown creatives will look to bring Cesaro and Nakamura in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship picture sooner rather than later.
