The latest SmackDown marked the first episode following the huge Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. While both sides of the Bloodline interfered, Reigns emerged as The Undisputed Tribal Chief.

Bayley also appeared on RAW on Netflix but returned to her home for the last few years. Paul Heyman had a segment with Cody Rhodes while Rhodes continued to feud with Kevin Owens and Sikoa's Bloodline.

Some teases were rather evident while others were more subtle. WWE teased the next five things on the latest episode of SmackDown.

#5. A few SmackDown duos could be in for a change

After some passive bullying and continued failures, a few SmackDown tag teams could be in for a change in 2025. Pretty Deadly has always been hilarious and outlandish enough that it could one day lead to a face turn.

They're stuck between DIY and other duos looking for title shots. Johnny Gargano claimed they'd have Kit Wilson and Elton Prince's backs. It was clearly a lie, which is something Apollo Crews pointed out.

As for A-Town Down Under, they should have disbanded months ago. They lost another big match and Grayson Waller looked angry after the bout. Both teams could look incredibly different in a month or two.

#4. LA Knight will get another shot at Shinsuke Nakamura

LA Knight's rematch for the United States title was one of the few contests announced ahead of this week's SmackDown. He helped send Jacob Fatu from the building earlier in the night, but savvy fans knew it would come back around.

That's exactly what happened as Fatu and Tama Tonga attacked The Megastar right after he hit Nakamura with a BFT. Since he didn't get a fair shake, GM Nick Aldis will likely grant him another shot at The King of Strong Style.

Knight's actions with Fatu put a smile on Aldis's face. With Saturday Night's Main Event a few weeks away, the rubber match would be a slam dunk for the card.

#3. Solo Sikoa's Bloodline is in disarray

Solo Sikoa had much more to lose in Tribal Combat. He puffed up his chest and challenged The Original Tribal Chief. He's not nearly as big a star as Reigns, so Reigns could have afforded to lose due to the amount of interference in the fight.

After losing on RAW on Netflix, Sikoa's Bloodline may be in shambles on SmackDown. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga operated without a leader all night, attacking whoever they pleased.

They mainly focused on Paul Heyman, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, and Jimmy Uso. Sikoa's return was announced for next week's SmackDown. With Fatu forgoing his "I love you Solo" line, it could mean big changes are in store for his group.

#2. Are there any developments with Jade Cargill's attack?

One strange, ongoing angle involves the tag team champions Bianca Belair and Naomi. While they initially cared about finding Jade Cargill‘s attacker, they completely ignored the situation in the last two SmackDown episodes.

They blame the same three people - Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae - each time someone asks about the attack.

On the latest SmackDown, both women decided to jump into the WWE Women's Title picture since Stratton now holds the gold.

It makes sense since they’ve hovered around each other for the last year. However, not mentioning the attack was a bit strange. Is it a subtle tease that Naomi and/or Belair are responsible for the attack?

#1. Lock in for Rhodes/Reigns Part III

One thing WWE teased heavily on SmackDown is to expect Roman Reigns versus Cody Rhodes: Part Three sometime in the future.

Paul Heyman first said Reigns is entering the 2025 Royal Rumble. The Wiseman also disclosed that after recapturing the Ula Fala necklace, The Head of the Table is looking to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Title.

It also felt weird that Paul Heyman said Rhodes "earned the respect of Roman Reigns." Shouldn't The Tribal Chief say that himself in person if he truly means it?

Whether it happens at WrestleMania 41 or further down the road, the only two men who have been the Undisputed WWE Champion will square off for a third time.
