#5. Rey Mysterio isn't done yet; Gran Metalik could shine as a singles star

It's not often in WWE that we see a match where both Superstars come out of it looking really good. Rey Mysterio faced Gran Metalik in a dream match on RAW and for a limited RAW match-up, they achieved quite a bit.
Thankfully, they were given more time but it was clear that if they had a lot more time at a PPV, they would excel and likely get a huge crowd reaction. Fans at Madison Square Garden were treated to a rather incredible match-up between the two luchadors and at the end of it, Mysterio ended up winning and standing tall.

This was a much-needed win for Mysterio, who will be looking to rebuild a lot of momentum that he lost over the past few months. One thing that he did show is that he's far from being the "grizzled old veteran" who is past his prime and has lost it.
As for Gran Metalik, it was a great showing for him even in defeat and with this, we could start seeing him get more featured as a singles star. He could finally get pushed!
