#3. Redemption for Damian Priest on RAW
Damian Priest had a sudden downfall on RAW following his change in character in late October 2021. It was the first episode after the Draft had officially taken effect and suddenly, the United States Champion had a darker version of himself.
It was presented as a side of him that would lose control and make less-than-smart decisions, often costing himself a match via count-out or disqualification. He suffered his first clean pinfall loss last week to AJ Styles, and it set up an instant title match this week.
However, The Phenomenal One's efforts weren't enough, and Styles is now another big name in Priest's impressive list of victories since 2021. This seemed to be a bit of redemption for The Archer Of Infamy, who had seemingly lost most of his momentum that he built up in 2021.
The road to WrestleMania is officially back on track, and if anything, WWE essentially told us that if AJ Styles isn't dethroning Damian Priest before April, nobody else will.
His reign will likely last until WrestleMania 38 at the very least, with his opponent at The Grandest Stage of Them All having the highest chance to dethrone him. Either that, or it could be a multi-man match if the company wants to protect him.
