#3 Chad Gable puts on an incredible effort against Big E on RAW, possibly signaling something for the future

The Alpha Academy have been trying to make recruits well before they joined the RAW roster last month. However, Chad Gable has been busy trying to convince WWE Champion Big E to join him.
While he had conversations with Seth Rollins as well, Big E was someone who Chad Gable attempted to "manage." The WWE Champion obviously had none of it, and they had a match on RAW.

What was surprising about the match was how much control Chad Gable had. Given the size difference between him and Big E, WWE could easily have opted for the squash match route, making the WWE Champion look good.
But Gable was allowed to get a great deal of offense in, although he was never going to win the match. He came up short on RAW in an incredible effort, and Otis was late in trying to break up the pin.
A confrontation between Big E and Otis was teased, but on RAW this week, we may have seen WWE dipping their toes in a possible Chad Gable singles push. Will the former SmackDown Tag Team champion finally achieve success on RAW?
