This week, WWE kickstarted RAW with a major segment where the Royal Rumble winner Edge confronted Drew McIntyre in a major showdown. However, it may just be a red herring to distract us from the fact that Edge may, in time, challenge Roman Reigns instead.

This comes from the fact that both Edge and Drew McIntyre are babyfaces, and the way that the WWE Champion reacted to The Rated-R Superstar at the very top of RAW proves that he's not likely to go heel anytime soon. Roman Reigns is, of course, a heel, and WWE would love the idea of a Spear vs. Spear contest, in much the same way as they wanted with Goldberg and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

Maybe Edge just kills time on WWE RAW until WrestleMania comes around, which is when he goes to SmackDown and makes the announcement that he will be taking on Roman Reigns, ending his reign of terror for good. Well, what do you guys think?
