It was very surprising to see the WWE RAW Women's Champion Asuka suffer a pinfall loss on this week's episode, but it makes sense the more you think of it. Asuka is upset that Charlotte Flair is distracted thanks to Lacey Evans, which is what she attributes losing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to. And this week's loss sets her up for a heel turn on a following episode of RAW.

Maybe she can team up with Ric Flair, who can do the talking for her in due course of time because heel Asuka is not a character that we've really explored yet.

Everyone expects Charlotte Flair to go bad because that's how she has mostly been booked during her WWE tenure, but for Asuka to go heel would be fresh, and it would make her more interesting than ever before. In fact, it probably did not happen on this week's episode of RAW since Sheamus turned heel, and another heel turn would have been overkill.
