We're not sure what exactly the direction of the Women's Tag Team Title picture is going to be after the latest episode of SmackDown. At first, it seemed straightforward. Natalya and Tamina were in prime position on SmackDown, while Naomi and Lana were in that spot on RAW.

A Triple Threat looked likely, but after this week's SmackDown, it could be more than just a Fatal Four-Way.

First off, Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler via a roll-up, which itself wasn't great. The Queen of Spades has been on the losing end more often than not on RAW and SmackDown.

Secondly, multiple teams entered the fray on SmackDown. The Riott Squad made their presence known, Naomi & Lana as well as Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose appeared from RAW to do the same.

Natalya and Tamina were already present, but there seems to be one more possible team - the odd pairing of Carmella and Billie Kay.

As Carmella watched from backstage, Billie Kay approached her. While the former SmackDown Women's Champion initially rejected her, she took her resume and had a good look at it. It seems like both women could form a team on the blue brand soon.

Natalya and Tamina stood tall on SmackDown, but it seems to be a major cluster. Including the Champions, that's a total of six teams involved in the Women's Tag Team Title picture. This appears to be a bit of an overload.
