WWE fans are optimists at times and pessimists at times. But most of the time, we live with the hope of seeing the things that we wish to see. We expect WWE to do something but they might end up doing the exact opposite. Even after this disappointment, we repeat the cycle and wait for the moment we wanted during the next WWE show.
While certain things do happen at one point or the other, there are some booking decisions that WWE is waiting for a long time to pull the trigger on. And this list is going to look at these decisions that have the power to change the landscape of WWE.
Roman Reigns heel turn
Roman Reigns is not enjoying the best time. The suspension due to wellness policy violation was a big surprise and with reports surfacing about him being forced to apologize in front of the WWE locker room, it would be safe to say that Reigns needs something big for his comeback. And what could be bigger than a heel turn for him at this moment?
WWE has been trying to shove him down our throat as a baby face for quite some time now despite having numerous occasions to turn him heel. Pulling the trigger on this one will help Reigns elevate his career and at the same time drive fans crazy.
John Cena’s Sweet 16
John Cena is arguably THE greatest entertainer in the history of WWE. Over the past decade, he has achieved things that most wrestlers would simply dream of. However, one record that has eluded him for quite some time is the 16th World Championship reign. Cena is currently has 15 Championships to his name and Ric Flair is currently on top of the record pile with 16.
WWE is yet to let Cena equal Flair’s record but we all know that it would just be a matter of time. With the brand split coming up, WWE might introduce another primary title, which doubles the chances of this happening soon.
Bray Wyatt winning a championship
Bray Wyatt is probably one of the most original gimmicks that came out during WWE’s current era. He had everything going for him on paper and Bray did end up cultivating a cult status during his stay on the main roster. He was in and around the main event scene for a long time but unfortunately; Bray is yet to win a championship in the WWE main roster.
In fact, the only championship that Bray has won throughout his career is the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship that he won alongside his brother Bo Rotunda, who most of us know as Bo Dallas.
Debut of Finn Balor
Finn Balor has turned into a tease master on his Twitter account. He has been teasing his main roster debut for months now but nothing has happened yet. Initially, we thought that Balor was going to come into the main roster as the leader of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
This position, however, went to AJ Styles. Later, we thought that Balor was going to come in and feud with AJ Styles. Despite having some opportunities, WWE did not do this either.
And the best part is, Balor drives everyone to think that he is indeed going to debut when he is not. His debut is now one of the most awaited moments for WWE fans. And when WWE finally pulls it off, expect everyone to lose their mind.
Undertaker claims his last soul
Undertaker is irreplaceable. We all know that, but as they say, all good things must come to an end and holds true for the career of The Deadman as well. Initially, everyone assumed that Undertaker would retire once his WrestleMania streak ended. This didn’t happen and two years later, we are still wondering when the Phenom will hang up his boots even though it is not something we want to see.
Undertaker’s retirement will mark the end of an era and it is a moment when no fans’ eyes will be dry. WWE could pull the trigger on this one this year or the next year, and no matter when it happens, it will certainly be a grand exit.
