#1 Bobby Roode is still the longest-reigning Impact World champion
Bobby Roode has held two titles since joining WWE – the NXT Championship (203 days) and the United States Championship (54 days) – but neither reigns were quite as historic as his 256 days as Impact World champion.
From 26 October 2011 to 8 July 2012, Roode held Impact’s most prestigious title to become the longest-reigning holder in its history – a record that still stands to this day.
The current Impact World champ, Austin Aries, has held the title since 24 April 2018 and needs to keep hold of it until 6 January 2019 to break the record.
