Lesnar destroyed Orton at SummerSlam, but not many have seen their previous encounter, on an episode of SmackDown. Lesnar, basking in his WWE title win over The Rock at SummerSlam, met Orton on SmackDown. Much like SummerSlam 2016, Lesnar dominated this match and hit Orton with a thunderous F5 to finish things up.

At WrestleMania 19, Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to become the WWE Champion again, and the two Superstars hugged it out to end the memorable show, as 50,000+ fans gave them an ovation. The April 10, 2003 episode of SmackDown saw Lesnar return to the blue brand, after taking a short break.
