#2 Brock Lesnar makes quick work of Randy Orton

At SummerSlam 2016, Brock Lesnar met Randy Orton in what was a dream encounter that had been more than a decade in the making. Lesnar and Orton came up to the main roster at the same time, as a part of OVW's class of 2002. Future legends like John Cena and Batista also came up around the same time.

Lesnar destroyed Orton at SummerSlam, but not many have seen their previous encounter, on an episode of SmackDown. Lesnar, basking in his WWE title win over The Rock at SummerSlam, met Orton on SmackDown. Much like SummerSlam 2016, Lesnar dominated this match and hit Orton with a thunderous F5 to finish things up.

At WrestleMania 19, Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to become the WWE Champion again, and the two Superstars hugged it out to end the memorable show, as 50,000+ fans gave them an ovation. The April 10, 2003 episode of SmackDown saw Lesnar return to the blue brand, after taking a short break.

The camera caught him arriving in the arena and approaching his locker room. Suddenly, several people stopped Lesnar to congratulate him on his victory and shake hands with him. One of these people was CM Punk, future WWE megastar.

It would be around 3 years before Punk would get his chance to shine on the main roster.
