Jey Uso's trajectory over the past two months has changed the course of WWE. He quit SmackDown and the company as a whole, before being brought back by Cody Rhodes.
Main Event Jey is now on RAW and holds the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles with The American Nightmare. Meanwhile, SmackDown got Kevin Owens in return. As a result, his popular reunion with Sami Zayn has come to an unfortunate end.
While KO has been gracious about the split, Zayn has yet to comment on it. It could have a negative impact on him, especially after it was Owens who helped him go on the path to redemption and overcome The Bloodline. Despite forgiving Jey Uso, Sami might not be pleased with him.

In fact, the former Honorary Uce can use their friendship to lay him into a trap for moving to RAW and making Kevin Owens leave. Sami Zayn could mastermind a secret backstage attack on Cody Rhodes, forcing Jey to get a new tag team partner.
He'd gladly accept the spot and officially reuniting with Uso. However, the team wouldn't last long, as Zayn would betray him and cause a WWE Tag Team Title change—an elaborate plot, yes, but one befitting of The Master Strategist.
Lest we forget, heel Sami Zayn is pure gold. He can still excel in the role, especially if he is up against the ever-popular Jey Uso.
What could Kevin Owens do on WWE SmackDown after replacing Jey Uso?
Kevin Owens is instantly one of SmackDown's top babyfaces, having been traded to the blue brand to take Jey Uso's place. However, his storyline options are a bit limited on the blue brand.
There is no way WWE should let KO go anywhere near Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, having feuded with them two different times since 2020. A feud with Bobby Lashley and his new faction sounds interesting, while he could also turn heel and face LA Knight. That would be worth watching.
However, Kevin Owens might still remain connected to Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and the core storyline on RAW. If The Judgment Day's alliance with The Bloodline lasts till Survivor Series, the rumored War Games Match will be a dual-branded affair. That allows KO one final ride alongside his buddies of the past few months.
