AEW Double or Nothing 2021 took place last night and whilst the debuts of former WWE Superstars Lio Rush and Mark Henry are stealing all the headlines, there were several other memorable moments.
One of those moments came in the AEW Tag Team Championship match between The Young Bucks, Eddie Kingston, and former WWE Superstar Jon Moxley. Over the past few months, The Young Bucks have made a habit of mocking WWE whenever possible.
Moxley and Kingston were looking to take the titles from The Young Bucks but came up short in the match mostly thanks to the mind games from Nick and Matt Jackson.
At one point the two AEW stars had Moxley set up for a powerbomb when they decided to mock his former Shield teammate Roman Reigns and deliver his usual roar.
Moxley reacted by delivering a boot to the face and fighting off the powerbomb attempt, but this was another clear shot at WWE and current Universal Champion Roman Reigns at an AEW pay-per-view.
