When Brock Lesnar first came to WWE, it was very rare that he would actually lose a match. He was being pushed as the 'Next Big Thing', and the WWE kept him extremely strong, attacking and destroying his opponents extremely convincingly.

The first time that he lost a match, it was in a match where he was tagging with Shawn Stasiak against the Hardy Boyz. Stasiak was booked as a bit of a joke in WWE after he arrived from WCW, and he was the one to be pinned in the match against the Hardy Boyz.
After the match, Lesnar attacked Stasiak and the Hardy Boyz, taking them out. He then faced Stasiak in a separate match, where he decimated Stasiak for most of the match. A couple of backbreakers was followed by a Powerslam. Next came the inevitable F5, which saw Lesnar put Stasiak away and pin him with one foot.
