#5 Brock Lesnar on Stephanie McMahon

While it must have been savvy for the UFC and WWE to allow Lesnar to make appearances for them both in such a short span of time, there were some in the WWE who took issue with it. Most notable of those dissenting voices was Stephanie McMahon, one of the principal owners of the company.
Stephanie claimed that despite the WWE allowing Lesnar to face Hunt so close to Summerslam, they were 'not necessarily supporting the fight' either. To go on record and suggest that all was not so understanding behind the scenes at WWE was quite a controversial move for Stephanie, especially considering the match was already booked and being promoted.
Stephanie also claimed that the UFC wasn't actually a competitor to WWE, so in the long run, it didn't matter too much what Brock decided to do outside of the ring.
Lesnar's response was short and to the point, much like most of his comments when confronted with an issue in interviews. 'I don't care what she says' was Brock's reply, which taken in context actually said far more than just those five words suggest.
Lesnar was essentially saying that the opinion of one of the most important figures in wrestling didn't matter and that he could do what he wanted without having to secure Stephanie's approval. It's not so clear whether this would be the case in reality, as we all know what happens when superstars fall out with the McMahon family.
Nothing actually came of the brief confrontation, however, but for one short moment, it must have filled so many wrestling fan hearts to see the domineering Stephanie McMahon taken down a peg or two by the Beast Incarnate.
