#4 Edge is a record-setting World Heavyweight Champion

Move over Booker T, because under the WWE umbrella, Edge won the World Heavyweight Championship a record seven times. Once the big gold belt was taken in by the WWE with the purchase of WCW in 2001, they turned it into an official world championship a year later. Edge would eventually take claim of this title.

The belt may have been synonymous at first with Triple H. However, Edge would win the big gold belt in WWE so often that it is hard to picture the title without it being around the waist of Edge.

He also won the WWE Championship four times, bringing his total number of world titles up to eleven.

#3 Edge competes in the first ever TLC Match

Edge, once again with Christian, competed in the first-ever TLC match. E&C fought against The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz in a triple threat TLC match for the then-WWF tag team championships. After a near-20-minute bout, Edge and Christian retained the tag belts in an all-out war.

The match type came to be since the Hardy Boyz were synonymous with ladders, The Dudleys with tables, and Edge & Christian with chairs. This match would later be the inspiration for many other similar stipulation matches in order to keep upping the stakes with more death-defying spots.
