On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns faced off against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a Handicap match. The odds being heavily stacked against him, The Big Dog suffered a beating at the hands of the villainous duo for a while. Suddenly, the lights went out, and the crowd erupted in unison.
It became clear what was happening. As soon as the lights came back, Shane McMahon saw The Undertaker of all people staring at him. The Phenom proceeded to make quick work of Shane and McIntyre. Soon after, it was announced that The Undertaker and Roman Reigns will be facing off against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. It's no secret that Reigns is one of only two men who have defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
This isn't the first time Undertaker has teamed up with a past rival of his. Let's take a look at five instances when The Deadman teamed up with his rivals.

#5 The Ultimate Warrior
The Undertaker came into WWE at Survivor Series 1990, and kicked off his first major feud against the white-hot Ultimate Warrior. Taker locked Warrior in an airtight casket during Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor segment. This led to the first-ever bodybag challenge between the two Superstars, which ended with Warrior gaining the victory.
Around a year later, The Undertaker and The Ultimate Warrior formed an alliance, and went on to compete in several multi-man matches. The two joined forces against Papa Shango and The Berzerker in a tag team match. Warrior's colorful persona, coupled with Undertaker's dark demeanor, made for an incredibly unique tandem that few have managed to replicate since.
#4 John Cena
Back in 2003, John Cena was a cocky heel who was trying to make a mark for himself on the blue brand. His Doctor of Thugonomics gimmick was getting over at a steady rate. After losing a short-lived feud against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, Cena went after Undertaker, which led to a match at WWE Vengeance. Taker emerged victorious in the end and went on to feud with A-Train.

Years later, Cena had become a WWE megastar. In the closing months of 2009, Cena and Undertaker teamed up on various occasions. One match saw both Superstars teaming up with DX to take on CM Punk's Straight Edge Society and Randy Orton's Legacy. A month later, Taker and Cena took on DX and Jericho & Big Show in a Triple Threat match in a winning effort, though Cena took a Tombstone Piledriver after the match ended. Maybe Taker still hadn't forgotten their rivalry from years ago.
#3 Batista
After winning the Royal Rumble in 2007, The Undertaker chose to face Batista for the World Title at WrestleMania 23. On the road to The Show of Shows, Undertaker and Batista crossed paths on various occasions, but none was as memorable as their tag team match on the go home edition of Monday Night Raw,

A mere 6 days before their WrestleMania showdown, Undertaker and Batista teamed up to take on the other main event of 'Mania, John Cena and Shawn Michaels. With the ring being filled with Superstars of the caliber of these four, things were bound to get ugly pretty quickly. During the closing moments of the match, Undertaker left for the back as an enraged Batista watched him leave. This was followed by Michaels hitting a Sweet Chin Music on Cena, resulting in a win for Batista and Taker. At WrestleMania, Undertaker defeated Batista to advance his undefeated streak to 15-0.
#2 Shawn Michaels
The road to WrestleMania's 25th Anniversary saw Shawn Michaels challenge The Undertaker to a match at The Grandest Stage Of Them All. The reasoning behind Michaels' challenge was the fact that Undertaker had never defeated him in a singles match. This included the first-ever Hell in a Cell match in 1997, which Michaels won after interference from a debuting Kane.

On an edition of Raw, 20 days before 'Mania, Taker teamed up with Shawn Michaels to take on the villainous duo of Vladimir Kozlov and JBL. The ending saw Michaels tagging himself in and stealing a quick pin on JBL. This angered The Undertaker to no end and he chased Michaels up the ramp. Michaels took advantage of an unsuspecting Taker and hit him with the Sweet Chin Music. Unfortunately for him, The Deadman won the 'Mania bout, and did the same a year ago, leading to Michaels' retirement.
#1 Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar's rookie year is widely regarded as one of the best in WWE history. He won the WWE Title by defeating The Rock at Summerslam, and went on to defeat Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at WWE No Mercy 2002. At Royal Rumble 2003, Lesnar eliminated Undertaker to win the free-for-all. At WrestleMania 19, Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to win his 2nd WWE Title.

Soon after retaining his WWE Title against The Big Show in a Stretcher match at Judgment Day, Brock Lesnar faced the Full Blooded Italians in a 3-on-1 Handicap match. As a beatdown on Lesnar ensued, Undertaker came out to save him from the trio. The next week, Taker and Brock faced FBI and The Big Show in another Handicap match. Unfortunately for Taker and Lesnar, the villains emerged victorious in the end with The Big Show pinning Lesnar after hitting a Choke Slam.
