At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch took on Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in a Triple Threat match with both the RAW and SmackDown Women's titles on the line. The ending to the match saw Lynch pinning Rousey to win both belts, in what was the first-ever women's main event in WrestleMania history. Lynch had become the biggest and most popular WWE Superstar over the previous 8 months or so, following her loss to Charlotte at SummerSlam 2018. This forced WWE and Vince McMahon to change the original WrestleMania plans.
Originally, the plan was to have a singles match between Ronda and Flair for the RAW Women's title that The Baddest Woman on the Planet had won at SummerSlam 2018 by defeating Alexa Bliss. Lynch's heel turn and her beatdown on Flair at the same event threw the plans out the window, and we got a Triple Threat Women's title match instead. Lynch won the women's Royal Rumble match and went on to emerge victorious in the main event of WrestleMania.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
